
A Rocket Launch for International Student Satellites (ARLISS)
One of the competitions Team Hawaii proudly participates in.

ARLISS is the rocket competition Ke Kime Kao Lele Keu Loa is blessed to be participating in during the summer and early fall months. Ke Kime Kao Lele Keu Loa has been participating in ARLISS for the past 8 years. According to www.arliss.org, ARLISS was developed by Stanford University Space Systems Development Program, various education institutions, and Northern California high powered rocketry enthusiasts. The program is for students to gain hands on experience on the rocketry process by designing, building, and launching their own payloads. The competition itself is held annually at Black Rock, Nevada. Many schools participate along with students from Japan.

At this competition, Team Hawaii also takes advantage of testing materials that may be used for the USLI competition.
