Dr. Joseph Ciotti is a Professor of Physics, Astronomy, and Mathematics at Windward Community College. He is the founder and director of WCC’s Center for Aerospace Education and acts as the college’s Associate Director for the Hawai‘i Space Grant Consortium. He designed WCC’s Lanihuli Observatory as well as the planetariums at both WCC (Hokulani Imaginarium) and UH‐Hilo (‘Imiloa Astronomy Center). He also established the college’s NASA AEL and serves as a NASA Space Ambassador.

Dr. Jacob V. Hudson Jr. is a lecturer of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at the Windward Campus. After receiving his Ph.D. in High Energy Particle Astrophysics, Dr. Hudson has maintained an active interest in aerospace studies and, in particular, rocket propulsion. Dr. Hudson is the Coordinator for the NASA Aerospace Education Laboratory (AEL), part of the Center for Aerospace, and is the Associate Director for Rocketry in the Hawaii Space Grant Consortium. Helen Rapozo is an Information Specialist at Honolulu Community College and helps the team with using the University of Hawaii collaboration software tools, public web page, taking photographs, advising on controller programming, and keeping spare batteries for just in case.

Dr. Witteman has a PhD is Ecology, as well as a B.A. in Biology and Sociology. Is currently an Assistant Professor at Honolulu Community College (HCC). He is currently an Associate Director for both the Hawaii Space Grant Consortium as well as the Marine Option Program at HCC.

Kristi Ross is an undergraduate student at Windward Community College. She is interested in all things science. She is our team leader. She is also responsible for the fabrication of our payload housing. She is TRA level 2.

Lyra Hancock is currently a pre-engineering undergraduate at the University of Hawaii Manoa. Her goal is to obtain an electrical engineering degree, then pursue her masters. She was in the Indigenous Knowledge of Engineering (Ike') Program. She participated in the Maui (SEE-2) and at UH Manoa (SEE-3) summer experience. This is her second year participating in USLI. She is also interested in receiving a TRA level 1 and 2. She also participates in the Marine Option Program.

Warren Mamizuka is currently a sophomore in the Mechanical Engineering program of the University of Hawaii's College of Engineering. As this is his first year in USLI, he is ecstatic to be participating. He is a participant in the Indigenous Knowledge in Engineering ('Ike) program. He dreams to one day be working for NASA.

Kristin Barsoumian is a sophomore in the Civil & Environmental Engineering program (focusing in Civil Engineering) at the University of Hawaii College of Engineering. This is her first year participating in the USLI. She is enthused about achieving her TRA level one certification at this year's ARLISS competition. On completion of her degree, Kristin would like to reconstruct disaster areas.

Ada Garcia is an undergraduate student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. She is currently trying for her TRA level one. She also participates in the Indigenous Knowledge in Engineering and is a member of Native Hawaiian Science & Engineering Mentorship Program (NHSEMP).
